ABOUT ME

I am a writer, researcher, translator, and teacher, based in Northeast Ohio. As an assistant professor of French & translation at Kent State University, I teach courses in translation theory and praxis, and in French language and literature. My research focuses mainly on questions of self-translation in the works of Francophone authors in the 20th century. My current book project, What I Mean Is…, brings self-translation into conversation with autobiography.
